How our gold finishes are made

Not every gold chandelier is finished the same way. Here is how ours are made:

• Branch chandeliers (single-tier, two-tier and staircase): the frame is aluminum and the gold color is produced by anodizing — not paint. The same designs can also be made in chrome or black.
• Botanical chandeliers (7001–7005): the leaves and frame are die-cast aluminum with an electroplated gold finish. Die-casting and electroplating take more work and give a finer, more detailed finish, which is why these designs start from $100 instead of $30. See our flower chandeliers.

Photos and real color

Gold looks different under warm and cool light, and on different screens, so a photo is never a perfect match for the real finish. That is why, before your chandelier ships, we send you production photos and a light-up video so you can check the gold and the crystals yourself. Warm white bulbs of 2700–3000K bring out the richest gold tone.

Caring for the gold finish

Our gold finishes have no extra clear coat, so a little care keeps them looking their best:

• Clean the frame with a dry, soft cloth only — no water, cleaning sprays or polish on the gold.
• Keep it away from damp air. In bathrooms, kitchens, coastal homes and other humid rooms, the gold can change color sooner.
• The warranty covers parts, not the color. A gradual change in the gold over time is normal and is not covered by our warranty.

Gold styles and shapes

• Single-tier branch — 28 gold designs with an airy, organic frame. See branch chandeliers.
• Two-tier branch — 5 gold designs with two layers of branches around a central stem. See waterfall chandeliers.
• Botanical — 5 gold leaf-and-crystal designs, including a gold leaf and crystal chandelier in a 120 cm linear shape. See flower chandeliers.
• Classic tiered — 6 traditional gold designs.

Most designs are round. Our six-size branch models also come in oval sizes up to 150 cm, and the 7005 is a gold rectangle crystal chandelier at 120 × 60 cm — ideal over a long dining table. Crystals, sizes and custom options

Crystals are K5 as standard, and every model can be upgraded to K9 or Egyptian crystal at extra cost — see our K9 crystal guide. Thirteen single-tier branch designs come in six round sizes from Ø40 to Ø120 cm; the others come in their standard size — Ø60 or Ø80 cm, or 120 × 60 cm for the linear 7005 — and other sizes can be made to order in about 35 days. Like a design that is not shown in gold? Frame color, crystal color, size and chain length can all be changed; a modified model costs a little more than the standard one. You can also send us a photo of a gold chandelier you love, and we will draw a CAD shop drawing for it — see custom crystal chandeliers.

Standard models are wired for 220–240V with E14 sockets; the US version uses 120V and E12 sockets. Bulbs are not included. Our chandeliers are CE and RoHS certified, and UL certification can be arranged for confirmed orders.

Delivery, warranty and care

• Single pieces: in-stock models are ready in about one week and ship door-to-door by express. Shipping and import duties are paid by the buyer and confirmed in your written quotation.
• Wholesale: from 5 pieces per model, made to order in 25–30 days, with spare crystals included.
• Warranty: 2 years on all parts (normal color change of the finish over time is not covered). Spare-part requests are answered within 48 hours.
