The Factory Behind the Chandeliers

Frames are cut and welded here. Plating is done here. Crystal is hung by hand here. Wiring, testing and packing happen here. That is the whole reason a custom size or a non-standard finish is a normal order rather than a special favour.

From Aluminium Tube to Packed Carton

Six steps, all under one roof.

1 · Raw material

Aluminium tube, cut to length for the branch sections. Aluminium rather than steel or brass is a deliberate choice: it keeps a large fixture light enough to hang from a standard ceiling fixing, which matters once a design is scaled up for a stairwell or a lobby.

2 · Welding the frame

Each branch is TIG-welded by hand on a steel bench. This is the step that decides whether a diameter can be changed: because the frame is built rather than cast, a Ø60cm design and a one-off project dimension go through exactly the same process. No tooling, no minimum run to justify a mould.

3 · Plating

Welded frames are plated in-house in gold, French gold, chrome, black or white. Doing it ourselves is what makes a finish a variable rather than a fixed SKU — and it is why a run of fixtures for one property can be plated together in a single batch, so the tone matches across every unit.

Finished frames come back to stock wrapped, and wait here until a specific order calls for them.

4 · Setting the crystal

Crystal is hung string by string onto the plated frame — not glued into a moulded panel. It is the slowest step and the one that decides how the finished piece reads: the crystal hangs at varied lengths, which is why a branch chandelier sparkles without forming a solid visual wall.

It is also a practical advantage after installation. Individual strings can be removed and washed, so cleaning does not mean dismantling the fixture. See the cleaning guide.

5 · Wiring and assembly

Harnesses are made up per fixture and fitted with the lamp holders the order calls for — E14, E27 or G9. Everything is wired for AC 85–265V, so the same unit ships to a 110V market and a 220V market without a separate build.

6 · Packing

Crystal travels badly if it is packed like a lamp. Frames and crystal are packed separately in cartons built for the fixture, so what arrives can be assembled rather than repaired. Packing is matched to the destination and the shipping method — the plan is confirmed with your quote, not decided at the loading dock.

Frames and crystal go into foam-lined cartons with the bulbs, canopy and installation drawing; cartons go into plywood crates where the destination needs them; crates and cartons are loaded and secured for the container.

Certification

We hold CE and RoHS, issued to Zhongshan Hongfu Jinghui Lighting Technology Co., Ltd.

If your project requires a further approval — UL or ETL for North America, SAA for Australia — tell us the destination at enquiry stage. It is far cheaper to settle that before a fixture is specified than after an order is placed.

Why It Matters to a Buyer

A custom size is normal production

Frames are welded, not moulded. A dimension you specify runs through the same bench as a standard one.

Repeat units actually match

Plating is ours, so a run for one property is plated as one batch instead of assembled from separate lots.

One party is accountable

No trading company between you and the bench. A question about a weld or a plating tone is answered by the people who did it.

Build from your drawing

Send a drawing, a reference photo or a ceiling dimension. We return a dimensioned drawing before anything is quoted. OEM / ODM →

Standard production lead time is 20–25 days. Warranty is 3 years.
