Dining Room Chandeliers

Dining room light fixtures and chandeliers, made in our own factory and sold direct. Every branch model here comes in two shapes: round, from Ø40 to Ø120 cm (16–47 in), for round and square tables, and oval, from 80 to 150 cm (31–59 in) long, for rectangular tables. Prices start from $30. Use the size chart below to match a chandelier to your table.

What size chandelier for your dining table?

Start with the table, not the room. A dining room chandelier should be about 12 in (30 cm) narrower than the table, so nobody bumps their head when they stand up, and about half to two-thirds of the table length. Round and square tables look best under a round chandelier; long rectangular tables need an oval or linear fixture.

How high to hang a dining room chandelier

With an 8 ft ceiling, hang the bottom of the chandelier 30–36 in (76–91 cm) above the tabletop. For every extra foot of ceiling height, raise it by about 3 in. If the chandelier is not over a table — in a walkway or open-plan area — keep at least 7 ft of clearance underneath.

Every chandelier comes with a 1.5 m (59 in) hanging chain that you can shorten on site, so you can set the exact height after the table is in place.

Bulbs, color temperature and dimming

Our dining room lights use standard screw-in bulbs: E14 sockets on 220–240V models, and E12 sockets on the 120V US version. Bulbs are not included, so you can choose LED bulbs and the brightness you like. Each socket takes a bulb of up to 85W.

For dining room lighting, warm white (2700–3000K) bulbs make food and faces look their best. If you want more flexibility, a three-color option is available: warm 3000K, neutral 4500K and cool 6000K. We do not supply a dimmer.

Shapes and styles that suit a dining room

  • Long tables: oval sizes or the 7005 linear chandelier spread light evenly along the whole table.
  • Round and square tables: a round chandelier centered over the table.
  • Kitchen islands: the narrow 80 × 30 cm oval and the 7005 linear chandelier work well over an island.
  • Style: for a modern dining room chandelier, look at our teardrop designs; for a warm, classic look, choose a gold frame; for contrast against light walls, see our black dining room chandelier models.

Dining room chandelier FAQ

What size chandelier do I need for my dining table?

Choose a chandelier about 12 in (30 cm) narrower than your table and about half to two-thirds of its length. For a 6 ft rectangular table, that is our oval 100 × 50 cm size; for a 4 ft round table, a round Ø60 cm. Send us your table size and we will recommend the right model.

Can I dim the lights, and which bulbs should I use?

The chandeliers take standard screw-in bulbs (E14, or E12 on the US version), up to 85W per socket. Bulbs are not included, so LED bulbs are fine. A three-color option — 3000K, 4500K and 6000K — is available. We do not supply a dimmer.

How long is the hanging chain?

Every chandelier comes with a 1.5 m (59 in) chain. You can shorten it on site to hang the chandelier at the right height — usually 30–36 in above the table with an 8 ft ceiling.

How much does a dining room chandelier weigh, and what is it made of?

The frame is aluminum. Weight depends on the size and the crystals you choose, so every chandelier is weighed before shipping and the weight is shown on your quotation and packing list.

How long does delivery take?

In-stock single pieces are ready in about one week and ship door-to-door by express; shipping and import duties are paid by the buyer and confirmed in your quotation. Wholesale orders are made to order in 25–30 days.
